I have reviewed this document as part of the Operational directorate's ongoing effort to review all IETF documents being processed by the IESG. These comments were written with the intent of improving the operational aspects of the IETF drafts. Comments that are not addressed in last call may be included in AD reviews during the IESG review. Document editors and WG chairs should treat these comments just like any other last call comments. Document: draft-ietf-avtext-rid-06 Status: Ready These two sentences below seem to need improvement ('... when the encoding media' and 'that set of headers'): To avoid Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) issues for the RTP packets, the header extension's size needs to be taken into account when the encoding media. Note that set of header extensions included in the packet needs to be padded to the next 32-bit boundary [RFC5285]. The last paragraph in the IANA Considerations seems to be misplaced; it is really about security considerations that the text in the Security Considerations section is much better than the simple claim that the SDES items never reveal privacy information. I suggest to simply delete the last paragraph in the IANA Considerations section. s/impelementors/implementors/ /js -- Juergen Schoenwaelder Jacobs University Bremen gGmbH Phone: +49 421 200 3587 Campus Ring 1 | 28759 Bremen | Germany Fax: +49 421 200 3103 < http://www.jacobs-university.de/ >
