I have reviewed this document as part of the Operational directorate's ongoing effort to review all IETF documents being processed by the IESG. These comments were written with the intent of improving the operational aspects of the IETF drafts. Comments that are not addressed in last call may be included in AD reviews during the IESG review. Document editors and WG chairs should treat these comments just like any other last call comments. Summary: Ready for publication. This document describes methods for handling Unicode strings representing nicknames, which in this context refers to human-friendly nicknames for devices or chatroom participants, and so on, in application protocols. Management considerations: None directly - the application management protocols/frameworks will need to support interationalized strings (note the expectation that there will be an application-layer element providing enforcement of this and related precis specifications). Nits: nothing major; reference to draft-ietf-precis-framework needs to be updated to RFC 7564 This document is very clearly written, comprehensive with respect to the problem it solves, and was a pleasure to review.
