Hello, I have reviewed this document as part of the Operational directorate's ongoing effort to review all IETF documents being processed by the IESG. These comments were written with the intent of improving the operational aspects of the IETF drafts. Comments that are not addressed in last call may be included in AD reviews during the IESG review. Document editors and WG chairs should treat these comments just like any other last call comments. Summary: Ready with nits *********************** So I know Section 4 is supposed to incorporate both types of GRE-in-UDP. You do call out in Section 2.1.1 though that multicast is not appropriate for this technology (See below). Then in section 4 you go into multicast by calling it out (See below). Is there a way to map the multicast parts of this section applying to TMCE udp-in-gre or would this confuse things? Section 2.1.1 GRE-in-UDP tunnels are not appropriate for traffic that is not known to be congestion-controlled (e.g., IP multicast traffic). Section 4 GRE-in-UDP allows encapsulation of unicast, IPv4 broadcast, or multicast traffic. *********************** Section 8 - "Use of a "Circuit Breaker" for the tunneled traffic as described in [CB]." Is there a better reference that can be added? Not sure if you are describing draft-ietf-tsvwg-circuit-breaker or another document. ------------------- Cheers, Rick
