Years ago (disco was in) I got curious about the phone number listed in Michael Crichton's "Andromeda Strain". So, I went to a payphone and dialed it. I was rather shocked to hear a couple rings, then a female voice "Military Emergency" At that point, I hung up the pay phone and went elsewhere.
This payphone was on a military base. I never had it get anywhere |
