Logging in to LBA-Linux

To log in to LBA-Linux:

  1. (Optional) Select the language to be used for this log-in session, using the Language button at the lower left of the log-in screen.
  2. (Optional) Select the type of log-in session--GNOME (Graphical) or Failsafe (text)--using the Session button at the bottom of the log-in screen.
  3. To log in as an ordinary user, enter your chosen username and password in the Username and Password boxes, then press the ENTER key. To log into the root account, enter the username root and the root password instead.
